FAQ
Good questions
Straight answers. Call 902 317 5044 if yours isn’t here.
Do I need ductwork for this?
Yes. A ducted heat pump runs through ducts. If your home doesn’t have them, ductless mini-splits are usually the better fit.
Can it replace my old forced-air system?
Yes. That’s one of the most common reasons people choose a ducted heat pump. See heat pump conversions.
Will it keep up in January?
A properly sized cold-climate heat pump keeps heating well below freezing. Sizing is part of every estimate.

Why it matters
Who installs it decides your warranty
Lots of people install heat pumps around here without any papers. Many manufacturers only honour their warranty when the system goes in by a qualified technician, so a cheap install can cost you a lot more later.
We hold the Red Seal for heating, refrigeration and air conditioning, the national standard for the trade. Your system is sized, installed and handled the way the manufacturer requires.
