FAQ
Good questions
Straight answers. Call 902 317 5044 if yours isn’t here.
Will a heat pump keep my house warm in January?
Yes, when it’s a cold-climate model sized for your home. That’s exactly what we check during the estimate.
What happens to my old system?
We’ll talk through your options during the estimate. Some homeowners keep their old system as a backup.
Is there a rebate?
Efficiency Nova Scotia offers rebates on qualifying heat pumps, and we help with the paperwork. Amounts and eligibility are set by Efficiency Nova Scotia.

Why it matters
Who installs it decides your warranty
Lots of people install heat pumps around here without any papers. Many manufacturers only honour their warranty when the system goes in by a qualified technician, so a cheap install can cost you a lot more later.
We hold the Red Seal for heating, refrigeration and air conditioning, the national standard for the trade. Your system is sized, installed and handled the way the manufacturer requires.
